The volume sits on top of a landscape height and the various wings interact with the surroundings, framing a series of landscape spaces. This enables keeping the most attractive parts of the site; the green corridor and the quay. At the same time, the concept solves the complex logistics and access situation that the museum demands. The result is a museum that activates the entire plot, from the fjord to the height, and which creates a total experience of landscape and building. It is a museum facility that can be experienced and used in a number of different ways, indoors and outdoors - a cultural multitool for the city and the region.
