Oslo is Norway’s capital city placed between two large and diverse organic landscapes (the fjord and the forest). These biotopes represent an important and underused resource for the city. The agenda for our project is to unveil the hidden potentials found in the fauna and flora of Oslo, and to connect them to a growing network of urban food production. Combining botanical art and mapping, the installation records the edible creatures of Oslo as well as local producers, showing an alternative portrait of the city.

The project is a collaboration between Transborder Studio and Korean botanist Soyoung Lee.
